# Mark no change needed

> Resolve an acceptable reading once, across current matches, or for future proofing.

After listening and confirming the narration is acceptable, choose the main **No change needed** button to resolve only the selected finding.

For broader actions, open its dropdown.

| Action | What changes |
| - | - |
| **This finding only** | Resolves the selected finding. |
| **All exact matches in this chapter** | Resolves existing unresolved findings with the same pair in this chapter. |
| **All exact matches in this book** | Resolves existing unresolved findings with the same pair across this project’s current, completed recordings. |
| **Remember this match for this book** | Saves a rule for future proofing and clears the current matching findings shown in the confirmation. |

The first three actions do not save a rule. Confirmed pickups are preserved by the broader matching actions.

## Before remembering a match

Review the **Narration heard → Manuscript** pair and the number of findings that will be cleared. Choose **Treat as equivalent** to confirm. If the affected count changes, refresh it and review it again before confirming.

Check the full wording and direction before saving a rule. If a related phrase is flagged later, review it on its own. See [How book rules apply](/equivalences/how-matching-works).

## Change your decision

Expand **Completed**, select the item, and choose **Reopen**. If you also saved an equivalence rule, [edit or remove that rule](/equivalences/manage-rules) separately to change future proofing behavior.
