# Go to a line in Studio

> Move from a QA finding or pickup to its manuscript passage.

1. In **QA**, select the finding or pickup you want to work on.
2. Choose **Go to line in Studio**.
3. Check the opened section and highlighted or selected passage.
4. Read the surrounding text, then record the correction in your recording software if needed.

The link carries the chapter and available passage or pickup position. It is especially useful when you need more manuscript context than the finding card shows.

## If the location is approximate

Some older pickups do not have an exact saved text position. Repeated phrases or later manuscript edits can make the original occurrence difficult to identify. Check the section title, selected text, and surrounding sentences.

A Studio link locates manuscript text. To find the source audio instead, use [Play excerpt or Copy timecode](/qa/play-excerpt).
