Pace unavailable means Margent does not have the reliable word timings needed to calculate the recording’s reading pace.
  1. Check whether the recording is still processing. Pace may become available after proofing completes.
  2. If processing failed, read the error and retry proofing when offered.
  3. If proofing is complete, continue listening to findings and working on pickups. A missing pace value does not, by itself, require a new take.
Changing the target range cannot supply missing timing information. Do not replace a good recording solely to force a pace number to appear. Pace is an average guide to your reading speed, not a score for your performance. See Understand reading pace.
